The Light Novel Podcast is the brainchild of YouTuber and Author, Justus R. Stone. A place intended to allow a larger discussion about light novels in general, as well as in depth discussions about specific series. In order to allow for the widest variety of knowledge, eight people are participating in the podcast. Each episode will feature a selection of people, picked from the eight, to match their knowledge and interests.

The current plan is for the show to upload on a bi-weekly basis.

Hi, I’m Terrence. I’ve been reading light novels since about the time I finished watching Devil Is a Part-Timer anime. For me, I like comedy and drama. It’s all about whatever gets me emotionally invested in the characters. The more tragic a series, the less likely I’ll want to re-experience it, but the more likely I’ll recommend it to first time readers.
Favorite Anime: Nichijou maybe.
Favorite Novel: Whatever I’m reading currently (But I did remember enjoying “Welcome to the NHK”, “Baccano”, and “Rokka Braves of the Six Flowers”; “Kafka on the Shore” was interesting too).

Hola everybody, I’m Kyle Castorena. My history in anime media goes all the way back to the early 90s when I first saw Akira on VHS (I wasn’t even 10 at the time). I didn’t stand a chance after that. Since then I’ve delved deep into the anime culture. Video Games, Anime, Manga, Light Novels etc.

I was born in California, but moved away only as far as Las Vegas. Nowadays I spend most of my time at my IRL job, playing game, watching anime, and writing whenever I get inspiration.

I’ve been watching anime since Lodoss War and Bubblegum Crisis aired late night here in Germany back in the 90s. Picked up the LNs for Slayers and .hack back then but otherwise stuck to anime.
Starting around 2011 I worked on the German translation of the VN Katawa Shoujo.
What got me into LNs for real was the Rokka no Yuusha anime for which I absolutely wanted to find out how it ended. Looked up the fan translation and ended up doing some editing work at NanoDesu. Now I’m working hard to catch up on all the series I’m interested in.
